  • Planned Parenthood Attacks MORE Safety Regulations

    September 16, 2025

    We’ve covered it here before.

Planned Parenthood thinks that the “reproductive freedom” amendment passed last fall exempts abortion clinics in Missouri from all Health and Safety regulations.

They’re fighting in court to make that a reality.

Planned Parenthood’s lawsuit initially targeted regulations like:

    – Building Codes

    – Hospital admitting privilege requirements

    – Biased and medically inaccurate counseling requirements

    – The ban on abortion via telemedicine

    – The requirement that only physicians perform abortions

But this week it got worse.

Already facing a lawsuit for systematically lying to Missourians about the safety risks of chemical abortions, Planned Parenthood now seeks even fewer safety checks.

Specifically, Planned Parenthood seeks to eliminate the requirement to prepare a complication plan for chemical abortions.

In Missouri, before Dobbs, the complication rate for abortions was 1 in 50.

The filing goes on to target a requirement that physicians carry insurance.

Physicians carry insurance so that a patient will be compensated if something goes wrong.

As mentioned earlier, this is only the latest filing in the abortion industry’s war to exempt itself from health and safety regulations in Missouri.

They are only interested in their bottom line.

    Missouri cannot let this happen.

The time is now to make sure that are neighbors know what’s happening.

The time is now to talk to them about Amendment 3.

In 2026, we can protect our state by voting Yes on 3 and mandating health and safety protections in our constitution.
