LIBERTY ALLIANCE CELEBRATES PASSAGE OF AMENDMENT 4

Kansas City, MO. Today, Missouri voters passed Amendment 4, preventing future attempts by Radical Liberal Big-City Mayors to defund our police.

This victory caps a years-long effort opposing Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas’s anti-police agenda.

In 2021, Liberty Alliance USA exposed Mayor Lucas and the Kansas City Council for their attempts to defund the police in secret. In 2022, Missouri voters approved Amendment 4. In 2023, unelected and unaccountable judges sided with Mayor Lucas to overturn the will of the people.

Tonight, the people of Missouri spoke in support of our police officers.

“It’s time that Mayor Lucas and his Liberal friends face facts: Missourians don’t agree with their plans to defund the police. They should focus on addressing the crime that has taken over their cities, NOT demonizing the brave men and women who keep us safe,” said Executive Director Spencer Bone. “We will stand with law enforcement whenever and wherever they come under attack.”
