Missouri Voters Deserve to Know What They’re Voting On
When Missourians are asked to change the state constitution, they deserve to know exactly what they are voting on.
Andy Bakker, Executive Director of Liberty Alliance USA, recently joined The Marc Cox Morning Show to discuss why Amendment 4 matters and why Missouri voters deserve stronger protections in the initiative petition process.
Amendment 4 Is a Common-Sense Safeguard
Amendment 4 strengthens Missouri’s initiative petition process by requiring proposed constitutional amendments to earn support across Missouri, not just in a few population centers.
It also requires voters to have access to the full text of proposed constitutional amendments at the polls, bans foreign interests from interfering in Missouri elections, and gives the Attorney General authority to prosecute petition fraud.
Missouri’s Constitution should not belong to whoever has the biggest campaign budget. It should belong to the people of Missouri.
That starts with transparency, accountability, and real enforcement.
Petition Fraud Should Be Prosecuted
Amendment 4 strengthens enforcement by giving the Attorney General authority to prosecute petition fraud.
Vote YES on Amendment 4.
