Liberty Alliance USA Celebrates Signing of Foreign Funding Ban into Law

Kansas City, MO – Today, Governor Mike Kehoe signed SB 152, banning the foreign funding of Missouri ballot measure campaigns by foreign nationals.

SB 152 was sponsored by Senator Ben Brown and will take effect August 28, 2025. Courts have found the Federal Election Campaign Act and its ban on foreign contributions do not apply to state ballot measure campaigns, making state action necessary.
