  • Missouri Must Stand Up for Women’s Health and Safety

    July 24, 2025

In 2024, Missouri voters approved Amendment 3, despite widespread misgivings about its confusing and extreme language.

Immediately upon its passage, Planned Parenthood sued to invalidate all health and safety regulations on abortion providers.

Their goal is clear: no doctors, no complication plans, no clean tools, no ultrasounds.

In 2026, Missouri will vote on a health and safety measure, also called Amendment 3.

This Amendment 3 restores basic protections to women at abortion facilities.

It will appear on the ballot in the following form:

Planned Parenthood thinks that abortion facilities should be completely unregulated.

    Missourians don’t.

Abortion providers should have to follow the same health and safety regulations as any other provider.

They shouldn’t be able to lie.

Parental consent should be required before performing an abortion on a child.

No child should be subjected to experimental sex change surgeries.

Amendment 3 goes a long way to restoring common sense to our State Constitution, but we have to be ready for a fight.

In 1982, there were 29 abortion providers in the state of Missouri.

Conservatives took control of the legislature and passed regulations to protect the health and safety of women.

By 2022, there was only one abortion provider left in Missouri.

If we require abortion facilities to protect women, they’ll run back to Illinois and Kansas just like they did in 2022.

Health and safety are not a part of their business plan.

The abortion industry is taking an extreme position.

The people of Missouri should reject it, and force them to play by the rules.

The people of Missouri should vote YES on Amendment 3.
