The Pride of Missouri

When the boys from flyover country come flying over your country.
This weekend, the world was reintroduced to the B-2 Bomber, and with it, Warrensburg, Missouri’s Whiteman Air Force Base.
Operation Midnight Hammer was the largest operational B-2 Bomber strike in history. It involved seven bombers, multiple mid-flight refuelings, and over 37 hours of flight time.
The B-2 Bomber fleet housed at Whiteman Air Force Base has almost unimaginable stealth capabilities.
“Our B-2s went in and out and back without the world knowing at all,” Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said.

Military officials described the mission as an ‘incredible and overwhelming success.’
Missouri is proud of the brave men and women serving this country at Whiteman Air Force Base.
As the Congressman for Whiteman AFB, I’ve been saying for weeks that our airmen in the 509th bomber wing are ready, capable, and lethal.
