Promises Made, Promises Kept

Governor Mike Kehoe was elected with a mandate to ensure public safety in Missouri. 

Immediately after he was inaugurated, Governor Kehoe delivered.

He signed six executive orders including:

• Operation Relentless Pursuit, a targeted and intelligence-led effort to apprehend dangerous fugitives,
• Creation of the Blue Shield Program recognizing local governments that support law enforcement,
• Allowing state and local law enforcement to assist ICE in immigration enforcement,
• Adding immigration status to crime data reporting,
• Salary raises for troopers,
• And a new working group to update parole rules. 

This is a HUGE step forward.

The next step is to pass Senator Travis Fitzwater’s SB 44 to deliver Board control for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, protect children, and punish rioters. 

Missouri should be the safest state in the country. 

It should be the best state to be a police officer.
