Bad Week for DC Liberals
DC Liberals shut down the government to demand taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants and so far, it hasn’t gone well for them.
The GOP passed a “clean” continuing resolution, meaning that government funding would be extended in the short term at existing levels.

There was nothing partisan added to this bill. Speaker Johnson rightly pointed out that Conservatives have nothing to negotiate with.
Why did Liberals shut down the Government?
To provide taxpayer-funded healthcare to illegal immigrants.
Despite their wailing, it’s right there in the bill that they introduced.
It’s right there on paper.

Ro Khanna didn’t even try to deny it.
He argued that taxpayer funds for illegal immigrants are really just a “small portion” of what they’re asking for.
