Five Bills We HATE
We spent the last few weeks highlighting bills we want to see passed in Jefferson City.
Now that the session is underway, we decided to share some of the pre-filed bills we HATE.
Here are five bills we DO NOT want to see passed this year:
1. House Bill 300
NO VOTER ID. This bill would remove the requirement to present a photo ID when voting. Over 80% of Americans support voter ID, which really makes you wonder why Liberals are so desperate to get rid of it.
– Sponsored by Representative David Tyson Smith

2. House Bill 429
TAMPON THOMAS. Apparently, Liberals didn’t learn anything from Tim Walz’s brutal defeat last year. This bill would require schools to provide free tampons in the boys’ restroom and allow Planned Parenthood to teach Sex Ed.
– Sponsored by Representative Wick Thomas (He/They)

3. House Bill 453
EUTHANASIA. This bill would allow doctors in Missouri to kill their patients with no protections for the mentally ill or disabled. One in twenty deaths in Canada are now the result of “Medical Assistance in Dying.”
– Sponsored by Representative Ian Mackey

4. Senate Joint Resolution 36
GUN GRABBING. This resolution would allow local governments to restrict the right to bear arms within their jurisdiction. Sorry, but the Second Amendment is not subject to the whims of Quinton Lucas or Tish James.
– Sponsored by Senator Maggie Nurrenbern

5. Senate Bill 88
CHARTER SCHOOL ROLLBACK. Missouri expanded charter school access to include the families of Boone County. Now, Liberals and their teachers’ union allies want to repeal it. It’s almost like government schools are afraid of competition.
– Sponsored by Senator Stephen Webber

We hope that NONE of these bills pass.
