Our friends at Missouri Right to Life released a list of reasons not to sign any of the extreme pro-abortion initiative petitions that are circulating.

Let’s add one: the proposed limits are meaningless.

According to CDC data, “80.8% of abortions were performed at ≤9 weeks’ gestation, and 93.5% were performed at ≤13 weeks’ gestation.”

The pro-abortion initiatives pushed by the Soros-funded Missouri Independent and heralded by the Left-Wing media as “GOP led,” propose to allow abortions for the first 12 weeks of gestation as a minimum.

That means upwards of 80% of elective abortions would still be allowed under this scheme.

These Radical proposals would make Missouri no better than California or Illinois.
Don’t trust the media. Decline to sign.
